About the role

Avantduo is seeking a Process Automation Software Engineer who combines technical expertise with a strategic mindset to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge automation solutions. Using modern frameworks, RPA tools, and embedded AI, you will identify opportunities to automate manual processes, build scalable workflows, and drive operational efficiency.

This is an entry-level position (0-2 years experience). We assess candidates holistically - considering experience, capabilities, and expectations together.

What you'll do

Design and develop intelligent automation solutions using Python, RPA tools, and AI frameworks
Analyse business processes to identify automation opportunities and efficiency gains
Build and integrate workflow automation systems with existing business applications via APIs
Implement AI-powered automation using machine learning models and natural language processing
Collaborate with operations and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation workflows and integrations
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployed automation solutions for performance
Stay current with emerging automation technologies, AI frameworks, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

0-2 years professional experience in software engineering or automation development
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
Strong programming skills in Python with experience in automation libraries (Selenium, Beautiful Soup, etc.)
Familiarity with RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate) or willingness to learn
Understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience with frameworks like LangChain, OpenAI API, or similar
Experience with API integration, RESTful services, and workflow orchestration
Strong analytical skills with ability to break down complex processes into automatable components
Self-driven, detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
